Bass

I always wanted to take a shot of a model in front of a stainless steel backdrop. I always imagined the shot would come out futuristic and funky. So today on the way down in the elevator I took this shot of a friend of mine from work. The greenish tint (from the neons) combined with the metallic wall of the elevator created the perfect mood. I think the shot came out pretty cool and my friend ended up looking like a rapper or a DJ. I think this elevator environment has a lot of potential for good shots.

OH MY GOD
I know this guy

tell him tata (or my real name :p) says hi ... I'm sure he wouldn't remember me.

We have done a photoshoot in al khairaan last ramadhan together with two other people for some competition.

He was the model and I was the stylist and probs provider :p ... the others were photographers/designers.

It was fun, please mark say hi to him.

I'm really liking the concept of the picture a day. Not so keen on the always hearing about your worldly possessions, though. Try mixing it up with the Kuwait aspect instead of American products you order online.

andrew, Miskan is about my 365 days and what goes on during my day. Its a reflection of who I am and what I do. American products and online shopping play a large part in my life living in Kuwait. You might not understand why since you do not live here but if it wasnt for online shopping I doubt I would still be in Kuwait.

Whoa, didn't mean for you to take it personally. I just figured that Kuwait as a country seems more interesting than stuff we see every day. Maybe that's just me. That and I thought part of the project was to learn more about Kuwait, or so I thought. Whatever gets you through the night, though.

hey andrew i didn't take it personally, was just trying to explain that there is only so much i do through out the day and there are 365 days in a year. if today i don't post a picture directly related to kuwait then there is a chance tomorrow or might or the day after. its hard to try and shoot an interesting picture everyday, sometimes when i leave work late and there isnt time for me to go somewhere or if nothing interesting happens to me during that day then i am forced to come up with a picture. if i passed by aramex and picked up a package and take a picture of what i got, then its because that was the most interesting part of my day.. :)
